HOW DO I REGISTER? With a $100 deposit you can hold your spot and secure your chance to experience the once in a lifetime CHIC event! Simple fill out the attached application form with your deposit and you've taken your first step to CHIC 2018.
WHAT IS CHIC? A Make and Deepen Disciples event, CHIC is the only conference that gathers students from throughout the Evangelical Covenant Church in one place for five days of worship, transformation, and fun. CHIC acts as a catalyst in students’ lives, helping them see the big picture of God’s kingdom and inspiring them to dive deeper in their faith–together.
WHO MAY ATTEND CHIC? High school students are eligible to attend CHIC if they will complete grade 9, 10, 11, or 12 in the 2017-2018 school year.
• In order to attend CHIC 2018, students must be 15 years old by December 31st, 2017, OR be 14 years old AND have completed 9th grade in the 2017-2018 school year.
• Students who are 13 years old, or who are just completing 8th grade, cannot attend CHIC.
• Seniors may attend CHIC a second time.
Some exceptions may apply. Please check with the events office by emailing email@example.com with any questions about eligibility.
Have you been out of high school for at least one year? Find out how you can volunteer with us and be part of investing in our students. We are also looking for counselors who will be at least 21 by September 1, 2017.
Be sure to check out our FAQ section or contact us if you have more questions.
WHERE IS IT? CHIC is held at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Every church is responsible for getting their students and leaders to and from CHIC. If your group is flying to CHIC, transportation to and from Knoxville’s McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) is included in your registration fee. Transportation to and from Nashville’s International Airport (BNA) or Atlanta’s Hartsfield International Airport (ATL) is an additional fee per person round trip. Check here for up-to-date details and to connect with your conference liaison for information about your group’s transportation plan.
We’ve also put together a handy checklist to make sure you don’t forget anything.
LEADERSHIP The CHIC council is a team of passionate leaders who are representative of the great diversity within the Covenant. Though they all come from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds, they are united in their shared love for students and in their commitment to making CHIC an unforgettable experience for everyone who attends.
